2026 – das zwanzigste Bestehensjahr und große Jubiläum für Schmeisig ist schon überstanden – nun geht’s nahtlos weiter! Nach über 330 Konzerten Mal an allerlei Orten zwischen Hamburg und Zagreb, zig Stadtfesten, Kneipengigs, Festivalauftritten und unzähligen Partys und Events aller Art konzentriert sich Schmeisig 2026 auf neue Aufnahmen. Liveauftritte bleiben aber das Lebenselixier der Band, also steht auch da so manches auf dem Programm. Besonderen Spaß macht es der Band, dass sie sich als feste Größe in der Szene auch das Wohlwollen ihrer einstigen Jugendhelden erarbeitet hat und die Bühne mit Slime, WIZO, Bad Religion, den Kassierern, sowie mit Mitgliedern der Donots, den Bläck Fööss und vielen anderen geteilt hat – und dass, obwohl sie vermeintlich ‘nur’ eine Coverband ist. Dabei geht es Schmeisig vor allem darum, die perfekte Symbiose aus ‘Bier’ und ‘Musik’ namens ‘Musik zum Biertrinken’ zu zelebrieren – schon aus ganz egoistischen Motiven. Seitdem die Band 2005 am Lagerfeuer entstanden ist, kleidet Schmeisig aus Köln die Gassenhauer der letzten Jahrzehnte in neue akustische Gewänder – mit Cajon, Banjo, Bouzouki, Gitarren, Bass und fünf Gesängen. Gespielt wird von Countryklassikern über irischen Folksongs, Punk-Rock und Heavy-Metalhymnen bis zu kölschem Liedgut und Technohits alles, was der Band zwischen die Plektren kommt. Zwei Studioalben aus diesem Repertoire sind im Laufe der Jahre entstanden: 2012 kam das erste Album  ‘Musik zum Biertrinken’ heraus, das die Band gemeinsam mit dem Produzenten Tobias Röger aufgenommen auf. 2017 hat die Band im Kölner Gottesweg Studio A ihr zweites Album ‘… and out comes the swindle’ zusammen mit Sebastian Blaschke (Sondaschule / Kmpfsprt) aufgenommen.

Dead Bob is the solo incarnation of John Wright, drummer from long time and apparently legendary but now retired Punk rock band No Means No. 

Life Like, a NMN cover actually, is the first album John has released on his own. Though primarily written and performed by John he can’t take all the credit having engaged the help of several friends to get this thing done. 

Recorded and Produced by John in the wilds of British Columbia, this album's material spans several decades and there is a lot more in the archives.

As might be expected the songs roll out cohesively but defy the cookie cutters and pigeon holes hence "Genre" is a tough one to convey but one thing that is not unclear is it is not to be listened to quietly!

STOLEN is a five-man electro-rock band from China, based in Chengdu. 

Formed in 2010, the band was invited as a guest for the legendary British New wave band NEW ORDER on their European tour in 2019.

STOLEN has the wild and sexy nature of traditional rock music, while blending the sanity and restraint of electronic music. Their high-energy sound integrated techno, dark-wave, and post-punk influences, is both introspective, exploratory and irresistibly danceable.

Remolding the rock band configuration into a hyper-synchronized dance engine, with a highly explosive audio and handcrafted-visual live performance, STOLEN has a strong recognition and a high degree of aesthetic unity in sound, vision and scene, is undoubtedly one of the leader of indie rock scene in China.

Wie viel Vergangenheit steckt in der Zukunft? Das Kölner Duo Salvage Art verbindet Genres wie New Wave, Synthpop und Krautrock mit „grooviger Leichtigkeit“, urteilte das „OX Fanzine“ über das 2021 erschienene Debut »non«. Die Synthese wegweisender Stilrichtungen bleibt die Methode der Wahl für Thomas Mersch und Roger van Lunteren. Sheffield und Manchester, Düsseldorf und Hamburg sind Koordinaten, zwischen denen sich die Stücke ihres im Januar 2026 erschienen Albums „konform“ bewegen. Produziert wurde es erneut von Jan Philipp Janzen (Von Spar/Dumbo Tracks).
Roger van Lunteren (Synthesizer, Programmierung) hat seit den 1990er Jahren zahlreiche Tracks und Alben bei verschiedenen Elektro-Labels wie Heimelektro Ulm und FireScope veröffentlicht. Thomas Mersch (Gesang, Bass, Gitarre) ist Teil des Krautwave-Trios Kratzen.

MELONES - a tribute to Ramones LIVE 2026
MELONES, die detailgetreuste Ramones Tribute Band des Landes spielen ihre Best Of Show als Hommage an die vier Originalmitglieder Joey, DeeDee, Tommy und Johnny der legendären Punkrocker aus Forest Hills, NY.
Die ersten Konzerte der MELONES fanden bereits 1987 sta[. Unter anderem im Punk-Club UJZ Kornstraße in Hannover, wo Bands wie Black Flag, Exploited oder Angelic Upstarts die Bühnenbre[er zum Beben brachten.
MELONES eröffneten das Punk & Disorderly Feseval in Berlin neben Bands wie Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Cockney Rejects, Discharge und Red London.
Seit Gründung der MELONES sind die Brüder Sven an der Gitarre aka Svenni „Holm“ Melone und Lars aka Lü4 Melone am Schlagzeug. Komplefert wird die Formaeon durch Sänger Chrisean aka Dicki Melone aus Berlin und Bassist Thomas aka Tommi Melone aus Hamburg.
MELONES nähern sich dem Original musikalisch und opesch sehr überzeugend - dem Publikum wird ein perfektes Ramones Live-Erlebnis geboten. Mit ihren schwarzen Lederjacken, zerschlissenen Jeans, den detailgetreuen Perücken und der Soundwand von unermüdlichen Drei-Akkord-Gassenhauern ist der Time Warp in die späten 70er Jahre, als die Ramones die damalige Musikwelt auf den Kopf gestellt ha[en, perfekt. „Sheena Is A Punkrocker“, „Rock ´n Roll High School“, „Blitzkrieg Bop“, „Pet Semetary“ und „Rockaway Beach“ gehören neben vielen anderen Klassikern zum MELONES Live-Set. Dabei wird in legendärer energiegeladener DeeDee Ramones Manier zwischen den Songs sein „iconic“ One-Two-Three-Four eingeworfen. Einer der Höhepunkte im MELONES Set ist der Motörhead Cover-Song R.A.M.O.N.E.S. (die Hommage von Lemmy an seine Freunde), gesungen vom Bassisten Tommi Melone.
MELONES sind „featured arest“ im neu erschienenen Ramones Fan-Buch „Creen Family“. Der US Autor Mark Leadon aus Florida führt auf 600 Seiten durch die Historie der Ramones und präseneert dabei Ramones Tribute Bands über den gesamten Globus verteilt, inklusive eines umfangreichen MELONES Band Portraits - GABBA GABBA HEY!
2026 feiern MELONES 50 Years Ramones „first album“. Der Beginn einer einzigaregen Punk Rock Ära, geprägt durch die, wie Svenni, Lüf, Dicki und Tommi sie nennen: beste Band der Welt.

Andy Brings (Double Crush Syndrome, ex Sodom) spielt sein Ramones-Herzbluttribut, solo und akustisch.
Im Stehen und leicht verzerrt. Brings: „Ich liebe es diese unsterblichen Songs, die mir alles bedeuten, vorzutragen.
Ohne Netz und doppelten Boden, nur ich und meine Gitarre.“
Mit diesem Programm trat Andy Brings bereits in Wacken, solo, und als Special Guest u.a. von Doro Pesch, Glen Matlock und 
John Corabi (Mötley Crüe) auf.

He was born in Rabat, Morocco, to a US Marine major and his 19 year old bride. At two months, George returned to the US with his mother and began a life of frequent relocations. He never went to the same school for more than two years.  This constant moving with his family broadened his exposure to the various culture styles across the USA.  Growing up listening to Top 10 radio with his seven transistor radio under his pillow, George developed an early interest in popular music. When the Beatles broke out in 1964, his interest in music deepened and he began to study guitar. A few years later, George was in a cover band with other boys from the neighborhood and when he taught the drummer the chords to the popular song "Gloria", he was astounded when six months later, the drummer was playing Jimi Hendrix note for note.  He became aware of what "talent" was and clearly the drummer had more musical talent than George and George was inspired to look for his talent somewhere else...  George had in interest in art, his maternal grandmother was a professional illustrator and George enjoyed his high school and college art classes quite a bit. It became clear to him that he inspired by realism, but didn't have the patience to render images to his satisfaction.

2026 sees Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra 15 years into their existence!  Since 2011, they have been gleefully trampling over genre boundaries by chucking rockabilly, blues, country, swing, soul and more into their musical gumbo, but always sounding mostly just like themselves.
Formed in Newcastle Upon Tyne, but now hailing from across the UK, the Tea Pad have released six albums, multiple singles and EPs, and have toured widely across the British Isles and Europe, playing everywhere from Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival to village halls and barns, and all points in between.
Well-known for their energetic live shows, and dry humour, they’ve toured with some of the big-name Americana outfits such as Pokey LaFarge, The Dead South, and Sierra Ferrell. They have released music on Sleazy Records, El Toro Records (Spain) and Migraine Records (Germany), appeared multiple times on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends, and had their music played by everyone from Marc Riley to Huey Morgan.
Joining Rob Heron (vocals/guitar) are Tom Cronin (mandolin/harmonica/guitar), Ben Powling (saxophone/clarinet), Adam Richards (double bass/electric bass) and Paul Archibald (drums).
