Irish Handcuffs [D] / Bellyacher [D] / Astronuts [D]

Punkrock, Indie Punk

Since late 2011 IRISH HANDCUFFS from Regensburg, Germany dedicate themselves to playing catchy punk rock and avoiding all too serious careers and lives, despite being a band in their mid-thirties. They get what they deserve: days spent in stinky vans and nights spent sleeping on Floors. Living the dream! So far they have released various splits and EPs, as well as a full length record and played over 200 shows. In addition to sharing the stage with bands like LAGWAGON, SWINGIN UTTERS, FACE TO FACE, DESCENDENTS, TEENAGE BOTTLEROCKET or LAWRENCE ARMS among others, they went on various tours in Europe, to the UK, Canada and the United States. There they had the chance to play THE FEST in Gainesville twice and POUZZA FEST in Montréal.

The first unofficial Bellyacher band meeting took place in January, 2020, when Matt (bass/vocals) and Bär (guitar) first met for a coffee to discuss forming a band together.
They had no idea that by the time the initial Bellyacher lineup would come together, a world-altering pandemic was about to strike. Needless to say, this slowed the band’s initial
progress. Meeting sporadically over the first few months with Tim (guitar) and Bene (drums) having entered the fold, the band managed to put together a number of carefully-crafted
anthems. In doing so, it was clear that the original expectations for the band had taken an unintentional turn into more diverse territory.
“When Bär and I first met, we assumed the band would at least somewhat echo the melodic hardcore bands we share a deep appreciation for. But, by the time it all came together, we
realized that Bellyacher had very organically added elements of all the different types of music we have loved for years, but never actually got around to creating in our previous
bands. It was not a conscious effort at all, but we seem to now be a band that floats somewhere between melodic indie punk, 90s emo/post-hardcore and the college alternative
rock we all loved growing up, and that’s completely fine with me.”- Matt
The sound would soon become further diversified after linking up with Claudia (lead vocals). Her clean voice would provide a welcome contrast to Matt’s raw backups and the tuneful
yet buzzing dual guitar attack. The result is something that seems to remind everyone of something, but they tend to have trouble putting a finger on exactly what. Offers Matt, “Yes,
we have all been around for a while and played in a thousand other bands, but I think we’ll surprise anyone expecting more of the same.”
With the release of their first EP on Raincheck/Highway 15 Records, the band is poised to take the world, or at least your garden, by storm.

Stylistically, ASTRONUTS play melodic Punk Rock in the vein of bands like Good Riddance or No Use for a Name, and blend it with poppy influences that remind of acts like The Menzingers, Ataris or Red City Radio. It is the wide spectrum of musical influences that makes up the band’s very own trademark sound, ranging from fast and melodic hardcore sing-alongs to melancholic downtempo anthems with a punky edge. By teaming up with new guitar player and Co-frontman Chris, who also fronts Ska-Punk powerhouse TEQUILA TERMINATORS, the quartet ultimately perfected their polyphonic vocal style, which amalgamates with crisp guitar harmonies, rolling bass and a powerful drumming.

Rhino Bucket [USA]

Hardrock

The band was formed in February 1988 by Georg Dolivo (lead vocals, rhythm
guitar), Reeve Downes (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Greg Fields (lead
guitar, backing vocals). This lineup played the Los Angeles rock scene for a year
with contemporaries such as Junkyard and The Four Horsemen. Warner
Brothers signed the band in 1989 and they released their self-titled debut album
in 1990 with Liam Jason AKA Jackie Enx from Warrior on drums.
Their second album, 1992's Get Used To It, was written and recorded in
Memphis with producer Terry Manning. The album contained "Ride With
Yourself" which was featured in the hit movie and multi platinum
soundtrack Wayne's World. In 1993, drummer Simon Wright (AC/DC, Dio) joined
the band and appeared on the 1994 album Pain. The band continued extensive
touring, but by 1996 the band went on what turned out to be an extended hiatus.
Rhino Bucket reformed in 2001 with Brian "Damage" Forsythe from Kix joining
the original lineup of Dolivo,Downes and Enx on lead guitar replacing the
departing Fields (aka Fidelman) who had gone on to a successful producing and
engineering career. The band worked on a few movie soundtracks including the
pot cult film Rolling Kansas and the title song for the movie The Outdoorsmen -
Blood, Sweat & Beers. Again the band became a fixture on a now quite different
L.A. rock scene.
In April 2006 Rhino Bucket released And Then It Got Ugly and then proceeded to
tour with like minded friends Broken Teeth, The Supersuckers and Kix. 2007 saw
the release of two new CDs Pain & Suffering and No Song Left Behind. The
former is a enhanced (5 new tracks) of their 1994 album Pain, while the latter is
a compilation of un-released songs and live performances. In July of the same
year Simon Wright reunited with the band at the Rocklahoma festival. Rhino
Bucket released The Hardest Town in May 2009 with Wright behind the kit. The

band was also featured on The Wrestler soundtrack and album during this time.
In 2010 the band returned to Europe for the first time in over 15 years with a 45
date tour that travelled to 14 countries.
Rhino Bucket released their sixth studio album Who's Got Mine? in January
2011 to enthusiastic reviews by both press and fans. The band then embarked
on two European tours making 71 appearances most notably at the Sweden
Rock Festival where they played for over 10,000 fans. A 31 show American tour
followed in the Summer and Fall.
Having recently completed a 48 city tour of Europe in support of their latest
release, a live album entitled "Sunrise on Sunset" (2013), Rhino Bucket is
currently playing select dates in America while working on their newest record. A
32 show tour of Europe has been announced commencing in February of 2014.
