Man dürfte DAVE COLLIDE vielleicht an irgendeinem Bartresen der Republik schonmal getroffen, oder als Sänger/Gitarrist der Band BIKE AGE on stage gesehen haben. Oder vielleicht warst du auch schonmal auf einer seiner zahlreichen Solo-Shows…
Mit über 50 Auftritten in den letzten zwei Jahren ist er nämlich ein sehr umtriebiges Kerlchen und wird auch in 2023 wieder mit Eisenbahn und neuen Songs im Rucksack unterwegs sein.
Jedenfalls versprüht dieser sympathische Typ gute Laune mit Message und macht live mit Akustikgitarre immer wieder Spaß. 
Acoustic Punk, mal schnell, mal langsam, mal sweet, mal rotzig, aber immer mit Herz, Verstand, Humor, dem passenden Cover Song und nem Bierchen in der Hand.

Seit 1987 gibt es die britische Band The Telescopes. Das Line-up der Band ist im stetigen Fluss, bei einer Aufnahme  können ein oder auch zwanzig Musiker beteiligt sein. Die Konstante in diesem Kosmos ist der in Northumbria geborene Bandgründer und Komponist Stephen Lawrie. Ursprünglich bei Cheree Records gesignt, wechselte die Band später zu What Goes On Records und erreichte regelmäßig die Spitze der Indie-Charts; ein Deal mit Creation Records führte dann auch zu einem größeren MainstreamErfolg. Die Musik der Telescopes kennt keine starren Grenzen, sie umfasst viele Genres und folgt – stets von Stephen Lawries Inspiration geleitet – ihrem eigenen Kurs.
Seit fast zehn Jahren haben The Telescopes bei Tapete Records einen neuen internationalen Labelpartner gefunden. 
Das 2021 veröffentlichte Vorgänger-Album "Songs Of Love And Revolution" landete wieder in den UK Indie-Charts, auf einer Bonus-Edition würdigten Anton Newcombe, Lloyd Cole und Third Eye Foundation die Band mit Remixen. Die Songs halten dem Test der Zeit stand – bei jedem Durchgang gibt es etwas Neues zu entdecken. In der britischen Presse war einst zu lesen, bei The Telescopes handle es sich „eher um eine Revolution der Psyche als der des Trottoirs“. Dieser rote Faden sieht sich durch ein einflussreiches, mehr als drei Jahrzehnte umfassendes Werk. The Telescopes haben weltweit viele Künstler unterschiedlicher Genres beeinflusst.
“Of Tomorrow” ist das 15. Album von The Telescopes, das fünfte auf Tapete Records. Das Album wurde von Lawrie im Alleingang in seinem Studio in Shropshire produziert. Es verabschiedet sich von dem, was die Presse oftmals als "wall of throb" bezeichnet hat – eine dichte Mischung aus Klang und Noise, die den Großteil der Musik von The Telescopes charakterisiert.
"Of Tomorrow" zeichnet sich durch eine völlig neue Dynamik aus: Es geht um die Poesie der Bewegung; solide Grooves treten in den Vordergrund und hinterlassen kristallisierte Spuren, unterspült von erhebenden Rhythmen und Hooks.
Lawries Stimme, die normalerweise als gleichrangiges Instrument fungiert, übernimmt jetzt die Führung und zieht die Hörer*innen in einen melodischen Strudel leuchtender Harmonien, der – bisweilen im Flüsterton – Liebe als Revolution propagiert.
Jeder Song auf dem Album steht für sich. Komposition, Darbietung, Arrangements und Produktion haben ein völlig neues Level erreicht. In diesem Album kann man sich völlig verlieren – ob auf dem Dancefloor oder zuhause mit Kopfhörern.

Copouchetti Love gehört sich so und soll auch so gehört werden. Manchmal rau und verzerrt, manchmal sanft und melancholisch, oftmals dilettantisch, immer gefühlsecht- wie die Liebe halt so ist.
Gitarrenmusik aus Köln, die wahrscheinlich als Alternativ gebrandmarkt werden kann und sich poetisch neben eigenen Texten auch gerne an gute, alte, versoffene Gedichte erinnert. So kommen Bukowski und Poe mit Mudhoney und Motorpsycho zusammen um mit den Swell Maps und den jungen Sterolab ein paar Platten von Can zu hören.

The Blue Cats ist eine Neo-Rockabilly Band der ersten Stunde. Ihre beiden ersten Scheiben aus dem Jahr 1981, Wild Night und Fight back gehören in den Plattenschrank sowohl jedes Rockabillies als auch jedes Psychobillies. Clint Bradley einmalige Stimme war schon damals das Markenzeichen dieser Ausnahmeband des Rock´n´Rolls. Nach der Veröffentlichung von „The Tunnel“ trennte sich die Band 1992 um dann 11 Jahre später in Hemsby, mit niemand geringerem am Bass als Frenzy-Legende Steve Whitehouse wie Phönix aus der Asche zu steigen. Von ihrer herausragenden musikalischen Qualität konnte sich das deutsche Publikum seitdem auf dem mehreren Touren überzeugen. Gerade haben die 4 Musiker um den Sänger Clint Bradley die Live CD / DVD „Live on a mission“ veröffentlicht. Jetzt kommen die Engländer wieder auf Tour durch Deutschland.

Raucous Red Roosters spielen Bluestrash, eine wild Mischung aus Blues, Garage, Rockabilly und Psychobilly.

Powder for Pigeons (Australian/German power Rock Duo) - Sänger und Gitarrist Rhys und Schlagzeugerin Meike eilt der Ruf einer schonungslos energischen und schweisstreibenden Wall-of-Rock-Performance voraus. Zuletzt auf Tour mit Monster Magnet, Clawfinger und Ugly Kid Joe begeistert das Power-Duo und in Las Vegas verheiratete Ehepaar mit einem nahezu magischen Zusammenspiel und einem gigantischen wie unverwechselbaren Sound. Eigens dafür baut Rhys seine Gitarren aus australischem Buschholz komplett selbst. Mit mal effektvoll-sphärischen, mal geradeaus rausgeschmetterten Riffs erzeugt er damit einen so ungeheuren Druck, dass man kaum glaubt, nur zwei Leute auf der Bühne vor sich zu haben. Drummer lady Meike, die u.a. schon in Los Angeles für ein Label der legendären Sound City Studios getrommelt hat, treibt das ganze mit Ihren meist im up- bis midtempo gehaltenenen Powergrooves voran, dass es nur so kracht. Eine spannende Band, die mit offensichtlichen Einflüssen von Rockikonen wie z.B. Helmet, RATM, Faith no more, QOTSA, Primus das ganze Spektrum schmutzig-schmuddeligen Alternative Rocks zelebriert - in einem explosiven Live Set.

ZEKE established a nasty disposition while cutting teeth on their own brash hardcore punk. ZEKE formed in 1993 with an original lineup of Blind Marky Felchtone, Donny Paycheck, Mark Pierce, and Dizzy Lee Roth. The band’s first release was 1993’s ‘West Seattle Acid Party’ single on Wrecking Ball Records, followed by the ‘Holley 750’ single on IFA Records. ZEKE then set out to bring their energetic recordings to the stage and established a more than formidable reputation as “the live band to beat” via concentrated regional touring.
The self titled single ‘Zeke’ was then released on Scooch Pooch Records and was followed by the 1995 release ‘Super  Sound Racing.’ ZEKE then hit the road again, unveiling a devastatingly high-octane live assault. The band was heralded as “Rock and Roll outlaws,” playing every conceivable venue that would have them. The release of the next full-length, ‘Flat Tracker’ a year later ensured ZEKE had enough audio ammo to stay on the road for months on end. 
And tour they would…
In 1997 Man’s Ruin Records issued the live album ‘PIG’ to a rousing response. ZEKE then signed to Epitaph Records in 1998, releasing, ‘Kicked In The Teeth.’ ‘Kicked In The Teeth’ was mixed and engineered by Jack Endino and the album’s increased distribution and availability found the band legions of white-knuckled new followers.
ZEKE recorded the follow up to ‘Kicked in the Teeth’ – ‘Dirty Sanchez’ – with Kurt Bloch of THE FASTBACKS. ‘Dirty Sanchez’ was released in early 2000. ZEKE’s second Epitaph release, ‘Dirty Sanchez’ rocked like a motherfucker. From the beginning quote of “Hey, he’s acting weird, it must be drugs!” to the last roar of the FLEETWOOD MAC’s “Rhiannon,” ‘Dirty Sanchez’ bludgeoned with tireless energy. Following ‘Dirty Sanchez’s’ release, bassist Mark Pierce left the band and was replaced by Jeff “The Kid” Matz.
Throughout the time that ZEKE called Epitaph home, they toured relentlessly. The band paired up with anyone and everyone who would have them, hitting the road with the likes of JERRY CANTRELL (ALICE IN CHAINS), ALL, THE VOODOO GLOW SKULLS, DOA, THE SUPERSUCKERS and even a few dates with PEARL JAM. The band toured the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia, spreading their rock while breaking all the rules. ZEKE played everything from stadiums with 50,000 people, to bars with 10 people, but the spirit remained the same; rock like this might be the last show ever.
The band’s fifth full-length, ‘Death Alley’ was released in 2001. Even after a solid stretch of similarly themed and arranged albums, ZEKE’s ‘Death Alley’ began with the premise that “fast is just not fast enough.” ‘Death Alley’  continued the band’s full-throttle approach, utilizing ZEKE’s essential formula – a manic, methamphetamine lab distillation of early American hardcore and classic rock – to full effect.
When you’re a punk band that is eternally touring, strange things are bound to happen that will have as much of an influence on the band as the music that got them started. KISS, BLACK FLAG, THE RAMONES and BLACK SABBATH all get a run for the money when it comes to ZEKE antics. When asked about some specifics, vocalist / guitarist Marky Felchtone rattled off a brief list: “Drum sticks in eyes, broken bones, incidents involving cake, drugs and under-aged females, Black Metalhomicides, etc…you name it” Felchtone went on to note that the reason he and ZEKE love touring so much is that it’s “it’s the best reason to avoid real responsibility.”
After leaving Epitaph and releasing 2003’s ‘Live and Uncensored,’ ZEKE began writing new material and set out looking for a suitable label that they could not only feel at home with, but one that could handle their “balls to the wall” rock and roll and enjoy the band as fans first. A contract with Relapse was inked in October, 2003 and saw the band join an artist stable (MASTODON, HIGH ON FIRE, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BONGZILLA, etc) that are at once musically mated and touring compatible. ZEKE found their new home.
ZEKE set the cruise control to “white hot” on their Relapse debut, ”Til the Livin’ End.’ A relentless ride of rock and roll abandon, ZEKE’s ”Til the Livin’ End’ mixes punk nihilism with a hard hitting metal extravagance. ”Til the Livin’ End’ burns from start to finish, as super-charged guitars, electrifying leads and a raucous punk attitude race fullthrottle down a highway to Hell.
Thank the gods of rock and roll, you’ve just met your new favorite band.
