The Muffin Heads (UK)

Punkrock

Tasty Grunge tinged alt rock from Harlow.

'TMH' started life in Essex, UK and their first release was a cover of Eagles Of Death Metal's 'I Love You All The Time'. Their punked up cover was digitally released across the globe by EODM and continues to generate much support for those affected by the Paris attacks in November -

After a string of live dates, The Muffin Heads teamed up with Regent Street Records to release the double A side across all digital platforms. 'Queen Bitch' and 'Media Vulture' were unleashed in June 2016. TMH, with the help from director/producer Matt Flack, created the 'Queen Bitch' music video.

TMH have recently been back to Tom Donovan Studio to record their first EP. Don't Give The People What They Want will be released on January 19th 2018. The first single to be released from the EP will be Bang Says The Gun on the 29th of December - keep those peepers peeled for the accompanying music video!

Grindhouse (AUS) / Hühnerbrust [D]

Garage Rock´n´Roll, Punkrock / Blues

“If you put meth in a gas tank instead of gasoline that’s what Grindhouse sound like”

Noisem [USA] / Corrupt Moral Altar [UK]

Grindcore

Formed in 2013 as teenagers, NOISEM quickly established themselves as the most promising young band in extreme metal and have already graced the cover of Decibel Magazine in addition to having toured with countless heavyweights such as Carcass, Obituary, Nails, Gorguts, Iron Reagan and many more during their short time as a band. NOISEM bring an incredible energy to their mix of extreme music.

Hailing from Liverpool, England, Corrupt Moral Altar is fucking the system since early 2012. Comprising former members of Malevolent Creation and current members of Napalm Death, Venomous Concept as well as Tom Dring, the production mind behind Dragged Into Sunlight and UK grind outfit Magpyes, CMA delivers systems overload on every channel. With charged riffs, vocals akin to gargling broken glass, slumped over slabs of bass heavy filth - every snare hit is another crack of the whip and CMA is set to self-destruct. The sold-out debut e.p. 'Luciferian Deathcult' surfaced as a limited press produced by Vagrant and released on Baitin' the Trap Records in Summer 2012 to a receptive welcome. It is the clutching hand of desperation and the sickness of alcohol-fuelled regret, saturated with fist-fucking hate, blow after punishing blow. "Imagine Napalm Death and Iron Monkey taking turns to smash you around the head with half-bricks." Corrupt Moral Altar provoke music that is taking only the heaviest, sickest bits of every genre that is already extreme in itself - cvltnation.

Orkan [SWE] / Mouth [D]

Rock / Progrock

Bitter Grounds [NL]

Ska Punk

Bitter Grounds is a four-piece punk and ska band formed in Utrecht, the Netherlands in 2015. Fueled by a sense of angst and underground musical aggression, the band distinguishes itself by perfectly balancing melody and grit, delivering a unique mixture of high energy punk rock and raw pounding ska songs, without losing sight of the essentials of good songwriting. Bitter Grounds makes dynamic use of alternating dual vocals, backed up by straightforward guitars, edgy solos, and pumping bass lines and drums. Lyrically the band doesn’t subscribe to any particular world-view. Independent in the truest sense, the band doesn’t conform to anything or anyone.
In April 2016 Bitter Grounds recorded their 11-track debut album Hollowlands with engineer and producer Menno Bakker at the Amsterdam Recording Company (ARC). This record was received enthusiastically by critics and fans as a “breath of fresh air”, and as something that had been missing in punk for a long time. The album got great reviews as “one of the most varied and innovative punk rock albums of the past few years” and was praised as an “instant classic”.
Bitter Grounds has made quite a name for itself since then. Playing shows throughout Europe with bands like The Real McKenzies and The Interrupters, the band then intensified its schedule by playing popular festivals like Punk Rock Holiday (SL) and Nice ‘n’ Sleazy (UK). With a new album due out on October 5th, 2018, and even more exciting shows lined up, Bitter Grounds will keep winning hearts and minds with their aggressive yet infectious tunes!

Heathen Apostles [USA]

Southern gothic outlaw country

Born of the voices of past lives and baptized in the dust bowl dirt, the Gothic Americana music of the Heathen Apostles harkens back to a bygone chapter of American history. Using contrasting in-fluences such as Bauhaus, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Pogues along with Howlin’ Wolf, Loretta Lynn (the band covers her classic Fist City) and Bessie Smith, the Heathen Apostles have created a style of music that at once conjurs both angels and demons, and will enlighten a darkened soul.
Crossing paths at a gathering one Indian summer evening, femme fatale bellower Mather Louth (Radio Noir) and rock n roll veteran Chopper Franklin (The Cramps, Nick Curran & the Lowlifes) quickly uncovered a mutual appreciation for murder balladry, Americana, and memento mori. It was not long before a collaboration that sought to marry these interests in a sonic landscape, the Heathen Apostles, surfaced. The landscape was further tilled with the addition of Thomas Lorioux (The Kings of Nuthin’) on bass and Luis Mascaro on violin.
The constant output of songs and videos capture the essence of the Heathen Apostles modus ope-randi: Southern Gothic Americana imagery surrounded by haunting, minor-chord melodies, musical influences including Gothic Roots music, Bluegrass, Blues, and Gypsy Jazz, all deftly bound toge-ther by the band’s dark and sometimes brooding sense of a bygone age. Their debut album, 2013’s Boot Hill Hymnal, 2014’s Without A Trace EP, 2015’s Fool’s Gold, Fist City and Death’s Head sin-gles, as well as their second album Fire to the Fuse have all been released on Ratchet Blade Re-cords. The third Heathen Apostles album Requiem For A Remix (featuring remixes by Chopper Franklin, Almighty Watching and the Phantom of the Black Hills, as well as corresponding videos), the Misery and Gin EP (a tribute to the late, great Merle Haggard) and the single and video for Al-batross came out in a busy 2016. 2017 brought out the Strange Flowers and the Bloodgrass Vol. I  EP, which is the first of a series of EPs in which the band plans to showcase their musical roots.
2018 saw the release of the second roots EP, Bloodgrass Vol. II (accompanied by the highly regar-ded Paint the Stars video [directed by Jorge Jaramillo]), followed closely by the fourth Heathen Apostles album Bloodgrass Vol. I & II (a vinyl and CD combination of the first two Bloodgrass EPs). A wildly successful European tour supported the album, and a music video for the infamous Death Came a Ridin’ single brought the band back into familiar Gothic Noir territory.  After the decidedly Gothic Americana Bloodgrass releases, the band put out the darkly gothic The Fall EP on Halloween of 2018, and it was named the Best EP of 2018 by Folk n Rock Magazine.
2019 promises the Summer release of the fifth Heathen Apostles album, as well a second tour of Europe in support of it. A music video shoot for Deadly Nightshade, the second single from Blood-grass Vol. I & II, is now in pre-production, with effects artist Jorge Jaramillo again at the helm.
